Remove Wallet Data


You may want to remove wallet data from your device for many reasons including:

  • Forgot current password

  • No longer want wallet data on current device

Your wallet data can be removed in multiple ways:

From the Login Screen

  1. Select Forgot Password

  2. Ensure warning message has been thoroughly read before continuing with the data removal process.

    1. Recovery Phrase(s) must be saved in order to restore wallets.

      1. For mobile wallets containing more than one wallet, the recovery phrase for each wallet must be saved.

    2. Removing wallet data will not clear the funds/balance in the wallet(s).

    3. This action cannot be reversed once completed.

  3. Select Reset Password and Wallet(s).

  4. Enter confirmation phrase (in red) and select Reset Password and Wallet(s)

    Accessing Security Settings:

    1. Select Menu at the bottom of the navigation bar on the home screen (in app) or click on the hamburger menu on the top right corner (in browser extension)

    2. Select Security Settings

    3. Select Erase Wallet Data

    4. Ensure caution message has been thoroughly read before continuing with the data removal process

      1. Recovery Phrase(s) must be saved to restore wallet

        1. For mobile wallets containing more than one wallet, the recovery phrase for each wallet must be saved.

        2. Removing wallet data will not clear the funds/balance in the wallet

        3. This action cannot be reversed once completed

    5. Select Erase All Wallet Data

    6. Enter confirmation phrase (in red)

    7. Select Erase All Wallet Data

    Accessing Wallet Selector (In App Only)

    1. Locate the Wallet Selector at the top right corner of the home screen

    2. Click the pencil icon

    3. Click the trash can icon for the specific wallet

      1. Recovery Phrase must be saved for the specific wallet

      2. Removing wallet data will not clear the funds/balance in the wallet

      3. This action cannot be reversed once completed

    4. Ensure caution message has been thoroughly read before continuing with the data removal process

    5. Select Erase Wallet
